Natural Skin Products and Skin Care Tips for Sun Damaged Skin

by Aileen Fitzharris

Young skin is very resilient and bounces back from damage very quickly. However, certain situations such as sun exposure are cumulative and will not show up until many years later. So, don't lie out in the sun all day, because it will come back to haunt you.

Sun damage is one of the biggest promoters or premature aging. The extent of sun damage will depend on your exposure and how early in life you began abusing. If you started in your early teens then you may see negative effects even before you hit your thirties. The tale-tale signs are noticeable dryness, dark spots, and wrinkles.

Even though sun damage is not reversible without more invasive measures, you can help keep your skin from suffering more damage. You can also mask the signs of premature aging caused by sun exposure.

Natural skin products are a great way of tackling the damage caused by solar exposure, therefore, preventing further damage from settling in. These products are a perfect weapon against UV damage because they are rich in antioxidants. Searching for the right treatment means finding wrinkle creams that contain potent antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, and Helix Aspersa Muller extract.

However, lotions and creams are not the only way you can help control premature aging due to sun exposure. As a matter of fact, the best "anti aging cream" you can have in your medicine cabinet is a good sunscreen.

Thirty minutes before going outside, you should apply a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. To maintain your skin protected, make sure that you reapply every 45 minutes to an hour. Keep in mind that a higher SPF only means that you don't need to reapply as frequently.

When you go outside you should wear protective garments. A wide brimmed hat and long sleeved tops are a good way to minimize sun exposure. If you want a tan, use a spray-on tan or self tanning lotion.

Anti aging skin care isn't just about using topical creams and lotions. A healthy diet can also help your skin look younger. Maintain a diet rich in fresh fruits, vegetables, and water to keep your skin hydrated and healthy.

These foods also contain antioxidants that help neutralize free radicals. Other foods that are essential to good health are whole grains and lean proteins (such as fish).

Some foods that are notoriously high in antioxidants are blueberries, strawberries and raspberries. Berries are considered a wonder food and are even used in natural skin care products because of their antioxidant properties.

BIOSKINREJUVENATION is a natural skin care product that helps inhibit the production of melanin. This anti aging lotion contains snail serum as a main ingredient, which is a great moisturizer for sun damaged and aged skin. Another important ingredient that can be found in this wrinkles cream is hyaluronic, an ingredient that makes any wrinkle cream a beneficial treatment for aging skin.
