As a general guideline, wedge shoes and sandals are a good look fro miniskirts as they balance out the short quality of the skirt. Flat shoes with a point are very attractive looking when paired with a miniskirt while flip flops, depending on the occasion can suit miniskirts just fine. Be aware that flip flops are very casual shoes that are favored for casual outings and settings, and not dressy ones. Even a high heel, provided it is not too high can work with a miniskirt. Always keep the occasion you will wear it to in mind when donning a miniskirt.

The most important thing is to be confident when wearing a mini skirt. If you don't feel confident in such a short skirt, pick one that is longer.
